| Customer Reviews: pleased customer March 18, 2010 J. Foster I ordered the Zagat Guide on Amazon and received it a few days later. No problems. the guide is very helpful when looking for a restaurant in Los Angeles or nearby cities. A happy customer!
Zagat Survey of Restaurants in LA/SoCal. February 23, 2010 L. Blyler (Los Angeles, CA USA) As usual, this is an excellent annual review of restaurants in LA area. The writer makes pertinent statements about all of the many restaurants that have been reviewed. I buy new editions of this book every year or so.
Reliable in New York, but not worth buying in Los Angeles June 15, 2010 OCD Foodie (Los Angeles, CA) I lived in New York for several years and relied on Zagat to point in several culinary directions to satisfy a variety of tastes. Unfortunately, I've found that the Los Angeles guide is not consistently reliable. I can only gather that Los Angelinos don't write reviews as much or that there palates aren't as refined. It is certainly not for lack of good food in Los Angeles as the sheer availability of ingredients is phenomenal.
